Rookie of the Year
The Rookie of the Year award first commenced for the football competition in 2003.
The Criteria for selection was that the player was in his first year in open age football after finishing the previous year in the league’s third 18 competition. The player had to have played a minimum of six (6) Senior games with best player awards in all senior games played deciding the winner.

The Netball Rookie of the Year was first awarded in 2004.
The criteria for selection is that the netballer was playing their first season in A Grade netball after playing in lower grades in previous years.
The winner will be determined by the player with the most votes received in the A grade League Best & Fairest award.
