September 13, 2018 2:25 pm Comments Off on Grand occasionAnother successful AGL Loy Yang North Gippsland Football Netball League grand final dinner was staged at Traralgon Vineyard on Wednesday night.
The annual celebration of club and league achievements and volunteers featured Mark ‘Choco’ Williams as guest speaker and honoured many worthy contributors to local football and netball.
Longtime Rosedale servant Alanna Diamond and Churchill champion Mark Answerth were inducted into the NGFNL Hall of Fame for their ongoing and valuable services to their clubs and respected administer and current vice-president Jackie Bond was honoured with Life Membership of the NGFNL.
Club awards were handed out to Traralgon-Tyers United (Club Championship), Yarram (Football Code of Conduct), Woodside and District (Netball Code of Conduct) and Cowwarr (G&P Bayley Administration Award).
Brad Evans from Sale City Football Netball Club was also named as the Sale Umpires Association Clubman of the Year Award.
